Two international nanotechnology conferences announced

Two major international conferences in the emerging fields of nanomedicine and nanotechnology have been announced by the International Association of Nanotechnology for 2006:

  • International Congress on Nanobiotechnology & Nanomedicine (NanoBio 2006), will be held June 19-21, 2006, Hilton Hotel Financial District, San Francisco. www.nanobio2006.com
  • International Congress of Nanotechnology (ICNT) 2006, October 30-November 2, 2006 in San Francisco. www.nanotechcongress.com

Nanobiotechnology is a specialized field of nanotechnology, focusing on the improved and novel physical, chemical, and biological properties of materials at the nanoscale. Nanomedicine has potential impact on the prevention, early and reliable diagnosis and treatment of diseases.

The NanoBio 2006 conference will feature the state-of-the-art scientific development in the emerging field of Nanobiotechnology and Nanomedicine. The deadline for submission of abstracts is 15 February, 2006
