First UK conference on hyperspectral imaging

Strathclyde University is holding the UK's first Hyperspectral Imaging Conference at the Institute for Advanced Studies on Tuesday 13th and Wednesday 14th April 2010.

The conference is being held as a prelude to the launch of the UK’s first Hyperspectral Imaging Centre of Excellence.

Experts from industry and academia will explore issues, such as how the technology works, how it crosses the technology spectrum and its limitations, through two full days of keynotes, tutorials, and sessions in content areas such as:

  • colour inspection and sorting forensics recycling;
  • chemical imaging;
  • process analytical technology (PAT);
  • photovoltaics & semiconductors;
  • pharmaceutical; and
  • food.

Course delegates are welcome to bring their samples for demonstration. Demonstrations of the latest products and software on the market will also be present.
