EUCOMED's MedTEch Forum to address unprecedented challenges facing industry

The EUCOMED, the European medical technology industry association, is holding its MedTech Forum 2010 and general assembly from 12-14 October in Brussels.

The forum will address the unprecedented challenges that the industry is facing in an increasingly complex environment — promoting clinician choice and safe, cost-effective and reliable medical technology for the benefit of patients.

The first day of the conference will start with satellite events organised by Eucomed's Working Groups. A training session on a topic related to the European Institutions will also be organised.

The second day will see a series of policy debates on a wide range of topics such as Going green, Health inequalities, Global regulatory changes and Adoption of innovation. The CEO Summit will take place in the afternoon and will see Global and European CEOs of medical device companies discuss on how their companies are emerging from the crisis.

The last day of the MedTech Forum is dedicated to the MedTech Forum Summit which will see high-level speakers share their views on the topic Healthcare 2020 and what it means for the quality of care and the efficiency & productivity.
