Image Information Systems to showcase mobile diagnostic image reading at MEDICA

14 November 2011

Image Information Systems will be showcasing some of their latest products at MEDICA this week (16-19, Nov 2011, Düsseldorf, Germany). Company highlights at the show will include pioneering products: iQ-MOBILITY and iQ-BOOSTER.

iQ-MOBILITY enables radiologists to perform multimodality readings from any location. It combines a laptop with a 17” diagnostic display and mobile reading/reporting software. It is the world’s first and only portable medical display that offers DICOM calibrated grayscale diagnostics. Being a class A medical display according to German standards, iQ-MOBILITY is comprised of a calibrated luminance of about 300 Cd/m², less than 10% homogeneity deviance, and special anti-glare front glass.

iQ-BOOSTER is IMAGE’s answer to slow loading images that waste doctors’ time and adversely affect patient satisfaction. It delivers high-resolution medical images to radiologists up to 1000 times faster than standard PACS by using a new ground-breaking technology: iQ-BOOSTER receives studies from any connected modality, automatically searches for relevant previous studies, sorts them, and promptly preloads them into the iQ-BOOSTER device with a built in memory of 256 GB RAM.

With iQ-BOOSTER, all network users in hospitals or imaging centers have access to any study (including all previous studies) within milliseconds, no matter how large the dataset. The device works in perfect synergy with any PACS.

Visitors to MEDICA may receive live demonstrations of iQ-MOBILITY and iQ-BOOSTER, as well as other iQ-SYSTEM PACS products for radiology reading, reporting, workflow management, image storage and distribution.

Attendees are invited to stop by IMAGE Information Systems’ booth F34 in hall 15.
